Pasadena Council Approves Contract for Implementation and Maintenance of Rental Registry

The City Council on Monday approved the Rent Stabilization Department’s (RSD) proposed $269,714 contract with 3DI Inc. for the implementation and maintenance of a rental registry.

The contract, which includes all software, licensing, professional services, and maintenance and support of the software, will be effective for three years.

As per the City staff report, the registry will help in enforcing rent stabilization measures, protecting tenants from unfair rental practices and illegal displacement.

It will contain landlords’ rental property details such as property address, owner contact information, rental unit characteristics and tenancy information.

3DI Inc. scored the highest among three firms that submitted respective proposals including Intellectyx and Avenu Insights & Analytics LLC.

“3Di, Inc. brings over twenty years of experience delivering comprehensive, fully integrated solutions to issues found in affordable housing, accessible housing, and tenant protections,” the staff report reads.
